the weird age of 19

it's my birthday today. and even though i was accepting the fact, that 19 will not be any better than my previous birthdays since, admit it, the age of nineteen is simply weird and not much to celebrate about, today has been one the best days lately!
the day started with an email from Magdina (Magda Polmanová), editor of ELLE.cz, that today i am featured in their street style section. to see the interview, click here. first gift? fantastic!
the next suprise came into my email box aswell. i have won an InStyle contest and i have the chance to attend a make-up workshop in the Surface professional make-up school. i couldn't get happier in the morning.

dnes mám narozeniny. a i když jsem si myslela, že 19tky určitě nebudou lepší než předchozí narozeniny protože, přiznejme si, devatenáct je zkrátka divný věk, dnešek byl naprostým opakem a jedním z nejlepších dnů poslední doby!
den mi začal emailem od Magdiny (Magda Polmanová), redaktorky ELLE.cz, že dnes jsem v rubrice Móda z ulice. pro rozhovor a článek klikněte tady. první dárek? super!
další překvapení mě také čekalo v emailu. vyhrála jsem InStyle soutěž a mám tak možnost se účastnit kurzu líčení v profesionální make-up škole Surface. nadšenější jsem ráno být nemohla.

and yet it happened. i went for a birthday lunch with S. to an italian restaurant Grosseto Marina. you can be sure the food there will be always delicious, the view fantastic and the atmosphere will be even better.

a přesto se to stalo. šla jsem na narozeninový oběd se Š. do italské restaurace Grosseto Marina. můžete si být jistí, že tam vždycky bude vynikající jídlo, vždy úžasný výhled a vždy ještě skvělejší atmosféra.

after the delicious lunch we decided to take a walk around Mala Strana. we went to relax in Voajnovy sady full of peacocks. i think it was the closest i have ever been to a peacock. loving the pictures as much as i do?
oh and i totally love him. not the peacock, obviously.

po výborném obědě jsme se rozhodli se jít projít kolem Malé Strany. odpočinout si jsme šli do Vojanových sadů plných pávů. přísahám, že to bylo snad nejblíž, co jsem kdy pávovi byla. taky se vám tak líbí ty fotky?
jo a.. totálně ho miluju. pochopitelně nemyslí toho páva.

my day finished with going for a drink with my family and a little celebration consisting of the traditional cake & (beautiful) flowers. my 19th birthday couldn't be better!

den skončil drinkem a malou oslavou s rodinou. nechyběl tradiční dort a (nádherná) kytka. moje devatenáctiny nemohly dopadnout lépe!
