EN: I've always believed in serendipity, the act of finding something great you were not looking for in the beginning. Heck, I've got it tattooed on my arm. I think it applies to meeting people, to getting opportunities, to getting ideas… and once in a time finding the perfect pair of wide woolen pants for… a penny. Literally. A cent is what came up on the display when I was happily running towards the cashier in Nordstrom Rack. I thought I am buying these gorgeous smartypants for a low enough price of 20USD already and then this happened. With a "Congratulations, lucky girl!" from the salesgirl and the biggest smile on my face I ran off. With the perfect pair of winter (smarty)pants. Serendipity.

CZ: Vždy jsem věřila na serendipity, na šťastnou náhodu, kdy najdete něco skvělého aniž byste to jakkoliv předtím hledali. No, ještě aby ne, když to mám vytetované na ruce. Stává se mi to s lidmi, s nápady, s příležitostmi… a jednou za uherský rok i s dokonalými vlněnými kalhotami za hubičku. Tedy cent. Přesně 1 cent, je totiž to, co překvapilo na displeji, když jsem, už tak nadšená z nízké ceny na cedulce, s kalhotami letěla k pokladně v Nordstrom Rack. 1 cent. S upřímným výkřikem "Congratulations, lucky girl!" prodavačky a s tím nějvětším úsměvem na tváři jsem si to odštrádovala do prosluněného města. S mým novým nejoblíbenějším párem zimních kalhot. Serendipity.
